Download the MP4 that matches the active player
Pages can preload advertisements, thumbnails, alternate qualities, and videos from earlier navigation. The extension scores the active player, page title, media headers, source labels, and recent playback context to reduce wrong or repeated downloads.
- Direct MP4 requests are detected from the current browser tab.
- Duplicate technical URLs are grouped into a cleaner media card.
- Preferred quality falls back to Auto when the requested resolution is unavailable.
- Available titles and metadata can be used for a more readable file name.
MP4 files compared with HLS streams
